Description

In this mini course we concentrate on active learning in the classroom. Even a small classroom can be an inspiring learning environment. Diverse methods and utilizing the whole classroom, its furniture and equipment, makes teaching and learning versatile. We share aspects of active learning and both teaching and learning multiplications. Cooperation is essential in active learning. In this course we introduce some ideas on how pupils can form pairs and groups. You can also get acquainted with the advantages of different pairs and groups. There are also some activity ideas of multiplications with detailed instructions and tips for assessment. Adding easy and simple activities, even a short exercise, learning can improve and pupils are more motivated. Learning is more efficient and fun.
